AMVAN Fleet

A Comfortable Process

Amvan’s fleet of over 50 vehicles are conveniently stationed throughout our service area to meet our client’s needs. Our vehicles are certified, licensed and inspected annually by the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s State Patrol. Amvan vehicles are designed and built to conform with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as all other applicable Federal and State Statues. They provide accessibility, comfort, and safety. Some vans are equipped with ramps, lifts, and highly specialized securement systems.

In addition, Amvan drivers must complete extensive in-house field training plus required First Aid, Defensive Driving, Abuse Prevention, and Passenger Assistance Courses. They also undergo and pass drug screenings, criminal background, & motor vehicle record checks. Drivers provide door through door assisted services for those who cannot independently travel to medical appointments or healthcare facilities on their own.
